It's me, Perry the Guide Dog

Hi, my name is Perry. I'm originally from Slovakia, but by a twist of fate, I ended up in the Czech lands. I'm a black Labrador, weighing about 34 kg – so as you can imagine, I'm quite a sturdy fellow. I'm a full-fledged canine citizen of Karlovy Vary, living with my master Zdenda and mistress Šáša.

My mistress is very kind; she gives me bananas and throws my favorite pine cone. But my master... sometimes he's completely out of it. He doesn't want me to just sniff around while in my harness. He probably thinks I can't hear him when he raises his voice, but he's wrong! I hear him perfectly well; I just sometimes have more important sniffing business to attend to.

There are so many treats in the spa forests. Although my owners are constantly yelling "Perrýýýýýýý, no! Bad dog!", I sometimes manage to gobble up a snack before they catch me. They call me a "pig" afterwards, but what do they know about a proper forest delicacy? :)

At home, they call me all sorts of things: Perroušek, Panpeloušek, Černochlupoušek, and sometimes my master says I'm a Tasmanian-Peruvian dog. Well, I've gotten used to it by now.

I accompany my master to work, to training, and back home. I try my best to help him so he doesn't bump into anything. It's a responsible job, but I enjoy it too!
